How to volunteer

The Taiwan Cinefest runs over all of central London with multiple venues, with 12 screened features, over 10 short films and a number of events that hosts international filmmakers, industry guests and Press.  All this, needs a great team of people to run it!

Working on the festival is exciting, challenging and very rewarding.

In return for volunteering at the festival you gain:
- A festival pass – to gain entry to all screenings and events
(when you are not working)
- Experience of working on a large scale event for your CV
- Opportunity to meet new like-minded people
- Opportunity to network with those working in the film industry

Opportunities available on the festival are:

Volunteer Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organised individuals to act as volunteer coordinators. This is a crucial role in the running of the festival and requires real dedication and attention to detail, plus great people skills! You will be coordinating timetables, liaising with volunteers, liaising with venues and special guests.

Events Assistant

During the festival we produce several special events from art installations to live bands to the opening and closing night galas. This involves back stage and front of house tasks including preparation, event installation, breakdown and VIP hospitality.

The deadline for applications to be received by the festival is February 10th, 2010.
